Translation Program

Empowering & Building Community

We help all 6.6 non-English speakers gain better access to global issues information

What is the Translation Program?

Our flagship initiative, the Global Ascent Translation Program, empowers youth to translate vital information about global issues—like climate change, public health, and disaster response—into underrepresented languages. By bridging language gaps, the program makes essential resources accessible to communities often left out of critical conversations.

Our Translations

Global Issues

Row of colorful canal houses in Amsterdam with text "Global Issues" and "Impacting Billions."

Language barriers prevent vital information from reaching those who need it most. By translating content on critical global topics, we bridge gaps in communication and empower communities with knowledge to take action.

Climate Change

Scenic landscape with grassy field, forest, and snow-capped mountain under blue sky, with text bubbles saying 'CLIMATE CHANGE' and 'SAVE OUR PLANET'.

The climate crisis affects every nation, yet many resources remain inaccessible to non-English speakers. Our translations ensure that scientific research, sustainability initiatives, and climate policies are available to a wider audience, fostering global awareness and action.

Education

Auditorium with stained glass windows and motivational word bubbles reading 'Education' and 'Learn!'.

Education is a fundamental right, yet millions of students lack access to learning materials in their native languages. By translating educational resources, we promote literacy, academic success, and equitable opportunities for learners worldwide.

Poverty

Urban apartment buildings surrounded by trees, with text captions "POVERTY" and "BREAK CYCLES."

Information on economic empowerment, job training, and social services can be life-changing for those in poverty. We translate crucial resources to help individuals and communities access support, break cycles of poverty, and build sustainable futures.
