Our Global Chapters
Chapters are local branches of an organization that are active in multiple areas. They share the same mission as the mother organization, and work in coordination of mutual goals. Making a chapter requires proper motivation and dedication.

Once you complete the chapter registration form, you will be sent all chapter resources and tool kits within 5-7 days. Your official verification (appearing on the website) will take up to 30 days. If for whatever reason you need to expedite the process please contact us at globalascent.official@gmail.com.

Totally! We’ve had many chapters in the past which are just different clubs (Global Issues, HOSA, Language Exchange, Culture). Additionally, you can organize translation workshops, which can be both in-person and online.

This has been a very frequent question asked among our chapter founders. We ask that you use the form in found in the chapter hub to summit you chapter members volunteer hours and chapter leader use their form to submit their hours.

As a chapter founder, responsibilities include organizing events, social media, and maintaining leadership. You host fundraisers like restaurant partnerships to raise money. Additionally, you can do translation workshops. Managing your chapter's Instagram is also regularly posting content like origami tuts and updates. These efforts are recognized through volunteer certificates which may be used for awards and recognitions such as NHS.

As a Chapter leader, your main role is to support Global Ascent in whatever capacity works best for you and your community. There's a lot of flexibility in how your chapter can get involved. Some of the impactful ways you can contribute include:
Translating global issues information as a chapter
Sourcing documents that need translation
Hosting workshops or awareness events
Translating resources and materials for your local community

Starter toolkits with step-by-step guidance to help launch your chapter
Templates for outreach, social media posts, translation documents, event planning, and more
Email and Zoom support whenever you have questions, need advice, or want feedback
Optional Zoom check-ins and mentorship meetings for chapters that would like more hands-on support or help developing ideas
Access to our Chapter Hub, a shared space for collaboration, resources, and inspiration from other leaders
Promotion and recognition of your work on our main Instagram account and website
