I care deeply about making global conversations accessible, especially when language stands in the way. When Global Ascent reached out, I saw an opportunity to bring their mission into my community by opening a local chapter in my town. I’ve always believed that no one should be excluded from taking action or understanding the world simply because of the language they speak. My experiences translating for TED and helping younger students develop reading skills have shaped the way I approach this work, which is with a focus on empathy, clarity, and community. Launching this chapter has allowed me to build connections with others who care about justice, climate action, and accessibility. It's also shown me the quiet power of language as a bridge, not just between people, but between ideas and impact. I’m proud to help create a space where information is more inclusive, voices are amplified, and change feels within reach.
